Lowden Guitars 的50系列可謂Lowden 的Custom Shop，經過George Lowden 40多年的結他設計經驗、構造實驗及研究，Lowden 的精英團隊已經有一套準確的Tonewood (聲木)分級準則，對每一批Tonewood 作詳細的分析及評級。

雖然Lowden 所有的Tonewood 一向都具極高的聲學表現及出色的紋路，但George Lowden 總會千挑萬選出音色最不同凡響、紋路最稀有的Tonewood 保留給50系列，如最頂級的African Blackwood、Cuban Mahogany、Ziricote、Brazilian Rosewood 等。除了使用嚴選的Master Grade Tonewood，50系列亦有極高自由度的客製空間，以及極致華麗紋路的實木Binding、Purfling、Rosette 等貫徹在琴頭、琴頸及琴身上，50系列就是Lowden 的心血結精

The Wee Lowden

The Wee Lowden was designed by George at the request of Gary Lightbody as a gift for Ed Sheeran. It is designed to be compact with a 610 mm scale length, and a soundbox that is 40 mm narrower and 5 mm shallower then the S model. However, the internal bracing and the choice of woods are such that the bass response is increased as much as possible to avoid the 'boxy' sound that most small guitars have.
